Tunisian Crochet Revisited

To all you duckies out there, here is the promised new tutorial on Tunisian Purl. Hope it helps! :)

Here I have just done my Make 1 before the Purl Stitch and I'm ready to proceed with the Purl Stitch.

Without dropping my hook, yarn, or project, I bring the hook behind the yarn as if to grab it to draw it through the loops and work them off.

I turn my hook and go through the vertical post which the Purl Stitch is going to be made on. If you look closely at the picture, you will see the working yarn crossing over the vertical stitch I am about to work in.

Pull the working yarn under the hook (or shift the hook over the working yarn, which ever way is easier for you, I seem to switch back and forth as to which one I do, both accomplish the same set up as seen in the next picture).

Wrap your Yarn Over around the hook as normal (back to front).

And pull the yarn through the vertical stitch to create your Purl Stitch and put the next loop on the hook.

And that's all there is. I hope this was a little more helpful than the last way I described. I pretty much just discovered this way of doing the Purl Stitch as I was working on my scarf. Happy Crocheting!
