Belle's First Dress

Well, an hour and several picked fingers later, Belle has her first dress! Who knew that sewing on three little snaps (the blouse already had two snaps on it) would take so long! Though I'm sure like knitting, I will get faster at sewing the snaps on as I progress through this project. Not a whole lot of pictures, but I wanted to share my finished product. :D

I added another snap to the blouse in the middle of the back, which tightened up the blouse around the bodice. Here Belle is "getting dressed."

And complete with the finished jumper sitting on my computer next to a screen image of Belle in the outfit. I can't believe how close it looks to the real thing!

After consulting with "mom," we decided that a snap on the apron was the way to go for the little girl's little hands, so here is the view of the back of the outfit, complete with apron snap.

And the finish product(s)!!!!! I'm pretty proud of them. Thanks to my mom for editing the pictures I took and making them look good. :)
